03 — Strengths & limits

Prominara

Strengths
  • AI writer drafts briefs and full pages from the sources AI cites for each prompt; a person approves and publishes, and the change is then measured
  • Your own AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex) can run Prominara over MCP: create prompts, run checks, log changes, read verdicts
  • When you change a page, its prompts are re-asked 3 times in 3 phrasings, so a verdict on ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini rests on 9 answers per check instead of 1
  • Untargeted control prompts separate your change from an engine-wide shift
  • Verdicts come as a probability, a range, and an evidence grade; the methodology is published
  • Headline visibility rate excludes prompts that already name your brand, so the number reflects being found rather than being asked about
  • Flags answers that state wrong facts about your brand and gives a correction plan
Limitations
  • Checks weekly at most; Omnia checks daily
  • Five AI surfaces; no Claude or Microsoft Copilot tracking
  • Site caps per plan (1, 3, or 6); Omnia does not cap brands
  • Does not publish content or send outreach for you; a person ships every change
  • Newer platform with a smaller user base

Omnia

Strengths
  • Daily tracking cadence on every plan
  • Up to seven AI engines, including Claude and Copilot
  • Unlimited brands on every plan
  • Sentiment broken down by product attribute
  • Agent that executes content and outreach work after approval
Limitations
  • No published method for separating the effect of your change from day-to-day answer variance
  • Its own guide calls 2 cited runs out of 3 "a 67% citation rate", a reading consistent with a true rate anywhere from about 21% to 94%
  • Insights run on a monthly credit allowance
  • No white-label reporting or client portal listed
  • Claude, Gemini, and Copilot are not included by default
The verdict

Which tool wins, for whom.

Omnia is a strong monitor: daily checks, more engines, and an agent that does the work. Prominara is built for the question that comes after the work: did it change anything? AI answers vary from run to run, so a single daily reading moves even when nothing you did caused it. Prominara re-asks the prompts behind each change in several phrasings, compares them against prompts you did not touch, and reports how likely it is the change worked. Prominara's AI writer drafts the page; your team decides what goes live under your name, and each change gets a verdict. AI-first teams can drive all of it from their own agent over MCP. If you have to defend a GEO budget or a client retainer with results, that verdict is the number you will be asked for.

Choose Prominara if

You want AI to do the drafting while your team keeps control of what is published and sent, you need to show which changes moved AI visibility, you report to a client or a CFO, or you run an agency and need white-label reports.

Choose Omnia if

You need daily readings or Claude and Copilot coverage, you track more brands than Prominara's plans allow, and you are comfortable with a vendor agent publishing and emailing from your accounts.

04 — Questions

Frequently asked.

01Is Prominara a good Omnia alternative?

Yes, if you need to prove impact rather than watch a trend line. Both track AI visibility and both offer an MCP connector. Prominara adds repeated sampling with control prompts, a published methodology, factual-accuracy checks, page audits, and white-label agency reports. Omnia offers daily checks, more engines, and an execution agent.

02Isn't daily tracking better than weekly?

Daily tracking shows more often what an AI engine answered. It does not, on its own, show why the answer changed. The same prompt asked twice can cite different sources, so day-to-day movement mixes real change with noise. Prominara checks less often but, for prompts tied to a content change, asks each one 9 times on each AI assistant and compares against untouched prompts, which is what lets it separate the two.

03How many runs do you need before a citation rate means something?

More than most tools suggest. Being cited in 2 of 3 runs gives a point estimate of 67%, but the 95% interval around it runs from about 21% to 94%. Prominara reports the range alongside the estimate and labels thin evidence as thin, so a small sample is never presented as a result.

04Should an AI agent publish GEO content and send outreach for us?

Prominara's answer is that AI should write and a person should ship. The Prominara AI writer drafts briefs and full pages from the sources AI already cites for each prompt, and your team publishes. Omnia's agent can publish content and send outreach from your inbox once approved. Either way, each published change should be measured: Prominara reports whether it moved citations, so you can tell which pages help and which do not.

05Does Omnia track more AI engines than Prominara?

Yes. Omnia includes ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode, with Claude, Gemini, and Copilot available on request. Prominara tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode, and does not track Claude or Copilot.

06How does Omnia pricing compare to Prominara?

Omnia charges in euros: €79/month for 25 prompts, €279/month for 100, and Enterprise from €499. Prominara charges in US dollars per plan with site and prompt limits and includes white-label reports from the Pro plan. Both offer a 14-day free trial. Compare the plans against how many prompts and sites you need.

07Which is better for agencies?

Prominara. It includes white-label reports, a client portal, and multi-client workspaces, and its impact verdicts give agencies a defensible answer when a client asks whether the work paid off. Omnia does not list white-label reporting or a client portal.
