Portal Permissions

Understanding and configuring portal user permissions.

Portal permissions control what data and features clients can access. Each portal user can have a unique combination of permissions.

Available Permissions

View Scores

Allows users to see AI visibility scores, category breakdowns, and score history charts for their assigned sites.

  • Overall AI visibility score
  • Category scores (Content, Entity, Authority, Technical)
  • Score history and trends
  • Platform readiness indicators

View Recommendations

Allows users to see prioritized optimization recommendations from scans.

  • Critical, important, and suggested improvements
  • Impact and effort estimates
  • Recommended actions
  • Passed checks (what's already optimized)

View Competitors

Allows users to see competitor and entity data discovered in AI responses.

  • Competitor mentions and frequency
  • Sentiment analysis
  • Position tracking
  • Trend indicators

Download Reports

Allows users to view and download generated reports.

  • View report list
  • Open reports in browser
  • Download PDF files

Request Scans

Allows users to request new scans for their sites (coming soon).

Managing Permissions

To update a user's permissions:

  1. Navigate to the client's Portal tab
  2. Find the user in the list
  3. Click the edit icon
  4. Toggle permissions on/off
  5. Save changes

Permission changes take effect immediately - users may need to refresh their browser to see updated access.
