Prominara uses role-based access control to manage what team members can see and do. Roles are per workspace, so you can be an owner in one and a viewer in another.

Owner
- Full access to all features
- Manage billing and subscription
- Delete organization
- Transfer ownership
Admin
- Full access to all features
- Manage team members
- Cannot manage billing
Member
- View all sites and data
- Run scans and create validations
- Use Optimizer
- Cannot manage team or settings
Viewer
- View-only access
- Cannot create or modify data
- Cannot run checks, create or activate prompts, log content changes, or set mission status
- Can export reports
The same limits apply when a viewer connects an AI agent to Prominara: the agent can read data but cannot take those actions. If you change someone's role, their agent follows the new role on its next request.
Transferring Ownership
A workspace has exactly one owner. To hand it over, the owner opens the Team page, chooses Transfer ownership on an existing member, and confirms by typing that member's email. The member becomes the owner and the previous owner becomes an admin. This works even after a trial has ended, so an owner can hand the workspace over before leaving.
