ChatGPT reaches Prominara through a connector you create yourself in developer mode. Developer mode is available on paid ChatGPT plans.
Create the connector
- Open ChatGPT, then Settings, then Connectors, then Advanced.
- Turn on developer mode.
- Go back to Connectors and choose Create.
- Name it Prominara and paste
https://mcp.prominara.comas the MCP server URL. - Choose OAuth as the authentication method and save.
- Approve the Prominara consent page that opens, picking the organization and the permissions.
Using it in a chat
Start a conversation, open the tools menu and enable the Prominara connector, then ask a question such as what is my citation rate on ChatGPT this month. ChatGPT shows each tool call before it runs and asks you to confirm the first time.
Developer-mode connectors are per-account, not per-workspace. Each teammate who wants agent access creates their own connector and grants their own consent, which keeps the audit trail per person.
Permissions
Granting read only is enough to ask questions about visibility, sources, missions and measurement. Grant write when you want ChatGPT to create prompts, run checks or log a content change. See Permissions and security.
