Sources & Playbooks

Opportunity discovery with AI-generated action playbooks.

Last updated

The Sources page is where Prominara turns your citation data into next steps. It surfaces the domains and pages AI platforms cite alongside you (and your competitors) and pairs each opportunity with an AI-generated action playbook tailored to the specific URL, domain, competitors, and brand context.

Opportunity Types

Guest Placement

Authoritative third-party domains where placement or contribution tends to earn citations.

Competitor Gap

Sources citing competitors for queries in your tracking but not you yet.

Directory / Listing

Review sites, aggregators, and category pages that AI platforms frequently retrieve.

Content Topic

Topical gaps where creating your own page is the fastest path to a citation.

AI Action Playbooks

Every opportunity card opens a detail sheet with a contextual playbook generated on demand. Each playbook includes:

  • Headline - A one-line call to action specific to this opportunity
  • Rationale - Why this source matters for your visibility
  • Target Action - What to do (contribute, claim a listing, publish, pitch)
  • Suggested Title - A working title when the action is to publish content
  • Key Topics - The entities and subtopics the page should cover
  • Competitor Insight - What competitors earning citations here are doing

Intelligent Caching

Playbooks are regenerated only when the underlying signals change (for example, a new competitor earns a citation). Unchanged opportunities reuse their cached playbook, so revisiting the page is instant and AI usage stays within your plan's limits.

Older opportunities saved before AI playbooks shipped continue to render with the static template content — no migration required.

Filtering & Views

  • Type filter with colored badges per opportunity type
  • Kanban board view for pipeline-style tracking
  • List view for bulk triage

Per-Domain Drilldown

Click any source domain to open the per-brand detail page (/b/[siteId]/sources/[domain]) with every individual citation Prominara has captured for that domain — across prompts, platforms, and time. Use it to inspect which queries earned a mention, which competitors share that source, and whether the citation includes your brand or only mentions competitors.

  • Filter citations by platform, prompt, brand presence, and date range
  • Sort by recency, prompt fit, or competitor density
  • Jump straight from a citation row to the live URL or the originating prompt
