Claude connects to Prominara as a custom connector. The same connector works on web, desktop and mobile once it is added to your Claude account.
Add the connector
- Open Claude, then Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Paste
https://mcp.prominara.comas the server URL and save. - Claude opens the Prominara consent page. Sign in if you are not already signed in.
- Pick the organization, choose read or read and write, and approve. Claude confirms the connector is available.
If you belong to more than one Prominara organization, the consent page is where you choose which one the agent may reach. To switch, revoke the connection and connect again.
Check that it works
Start a new conversation and ask: list my Prominara sites. Claude should call the list-sites tool and answer with your domains. If Claude says it has no such tool, open the connector list and confirm Prominara is enabled for the conversation.
Read-only connections
Leaving write unchecked at consent gives Claude every read tool and no way to create prompts, run checks or log changes. Attempting a write returns a permission error naming the scope it needs, so you can reconnect with write when you want it.
