Microsoft Copilot answers from Bing's index. Connect Bing Webmaster Tools so Prominara can show what people search for on Bing, how healthy Bing's crawl of your site is, and whether Bing has recrawled a page since you changed it.
What You Get
- Bing index check on every logged change - Each content change with a page shows whether Bing recrawled that page after the change, crawled it before, or has no record of it yet. If Bing hasn't seen the new version, a link takes you to Bing's URL Inspection to request a recrawl.
- Validation → Search demand → Bing - The same topics, coverage status and one-click "Turn into prompts" as Google, built from your Bing search queries.
- Integrations → Bing search - Clicks and impressions over the last 28 days, pages in Bing's index, crawl errors and your top Bing queries.
Connection Steps
- Make sure your site is verified in Bing Webmaster Tools. Importing it from Google Search Console is the quickest way.
- In Bing Webmaster Tools, open Settings → API access, choose API Key and generate one.
- In Prominara, pick the brand, open Integrations and click Connect on the Bing Webmaster Tools card.
- Paste the key, then select the Bing site to map to this brand.
- Data syncs nightly. A newly verified site can take up to 48 hours to report data.
Read-only
A Bing API key can also add sites and submit URLs. Prominara only ever calls Bing's read methods, stores the key encrypted, and never shows it again. If you regenerate the key in Bing, reconnect with the new one.
What Bing Doesn't Share Yet
Bing's AI Performance report shows how often Copilot and Bing's AI answers cite your pages. Microsoft doesn't make that data available to other tools yet, so it isn't in Prominara; open it in Bing Webmaster Tools.
Bing's search numbers include every Bing surface, Copilot in Bing among them. Bing doesn't report Copilot clicks separately, so Prominara doesn't either. Bing data is shown as context and never changes a measurement result.
